USPA NEWS - Get ready to make a difference! The world's first and largest electric railway museum is seeking dedicated volunteers to join its vibrant community and help shape its future. Join the Seashore Trolley Museum team in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Unlock the transformative power of giving with seasonal and year-round volunteer opportunities available this winter and throughout 2026, all based at the vibrant campus at 195 Log Cabin Road in Kennebunkport.

Multiple opportunities exist including: greeting guests and providing guided tours, assisting with the construction of new landscape sections and buildings on the model railroad, maintaining model trains and existing track, and establishing the new retail area inside the building.

The museum is also seeking volunteers for a range of opportunities through 2026, including: the restoration and maintenance of trolleys and other transit vehicles in the museum's year-round Restoration Shop, operating trolleys for public rides on the museum's 1.7-mile heritage railway, and assisting with maintenance, construction of track and overhead wire infrastructure on the museum's railroad.
Volunteers are required Thursdays through Saturdays from 10AM-4PM when the facility is open to the public, or on Wednesdays during closed hours.
